These terms govern your use of JRFSmart. By creating an account or making a payment, you agree to them. Please read the section on what we do and do not promise — it matters.
1. Who we are
JRFSmart ("we", "us", "the Service") is operated by Roshan Mishra, a sole proprietor based in Boudh, Odisha, India, at the website jrfsmart.com.
We are an independent study resource. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the University Grants Commission (UGC), the National Testing Agency (NTA), or any government body. Nothing on this site is an official communication from any examination authority.
2. What the Service provides
JRFSmart provides previous-year questions from UGC NET examinations, together with original explanations, analysis and frequency data written by us, plus practice tools and progress tracking.
Question text and official answer keys originate from publicly released NTA examination papers and answer keys, and are reproduced with attribution for study purposes. The explanations, wrong-option analysis, memory aids, topic classification, repeat detection and frequency statistics are our own original work.
Where an NTA answer key appears to us to be disputed or erroneous, we say so and explain our reasoning. Where a question was cancelled by NTA, we note it. Where a question originally appeared in Hindi, our English rendering is our own translation and is marked as such. These are our editorial judgements, offered in good faith, and you should verify anything that matters to you against the official source.
3. What we do not promise
We also do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every explanation is free of mistakes. We correct errors when they are reported. If you find one, please tell us at support@jrfsmart.com — we would genuinely rather know.
Examination patterns, syllabi and answer keys are set by NTA and may change at any time without notice to us.
4. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or using the Service with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- You must provide accurate information when registering, and keep your login secure.
- Your account is for your personal use only. You may not share your login with anyone else.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account.
We sign you in through Google. We receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We never receive or store your Google password. See our Privacy Policy.
5. Free tier, trial and paid access
Part of our content is available free of charge, permanently, without payment. We may change what is included in the free tier at any time.
Paid access is sold as fixed-duration passes. You pay once, and your access runs until the expiry date shown at the time of purchase. There is no automatic renewal and no recurring charge. Nothing is deducted from your account after the initial payment. When a pass expires, your access reverts to the free tier and your progress data is retained.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and are shown on our pricing page. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects a pass you have already bought.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. We never see, handle or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or any other payment credential. That information is collected directly by the payment gateway on its own secure infrastructure. We receive only a transaction reference, the amount, and whether the payment succeeded.
Access is granted after our systems receive confirmation of payment from the gateway. This is normally immediate but can occasionally take a few minutes. If you have been charged and do not have access after 30 minutes, contact us at support@jrfsmart.com with your transaction reference and we will resolve it.
Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
7. What you may not do
When you buy a pass, you are buying personal access to our explanations — not ownership of them, and not a licence to redistribute them. You may not:
- Share, sell, resell, sublicense or give away your account or your access;
- Copy, scrape, download in bulk, or systematically extract our explanations, analysis or frequency data, whether manually or using any automated tool, bot or script;
- Republish our explanations — in whole or in part, in any medium, including PDFs, Telegram channels, YouTube videos, coaching material or another website;
- Attempt to bypass payment, access content you have not paid for, or interfere with the security of the Service;
- Use the Service in any way that disrupts it for other users.
We monitor for unusual access patterns. If we find that an account is being shared or that content is being extracted in bulk, we may suspend or terminate that account without refund. We will tell you why.
Ordinary personal study use — reading, practising, taking notes by hand, printing a page for yourself — is of course fine and is what the Service is for.
8. Intellectual property
All explanations, wrong-option analysis, memory aids, topic and subtopic classification, repeat detection, frequency statistics, site design, code and branding are the property of Roshan Mishra and are protected by Indian copyright law.
Original examination questions and official answer keys remain the property of their respective authorities and are reproduced for study and commentary with attribution. If you are a rights holder and believe material on this site should be removed, please write to support@jrfsmart.com and we will respond promptly.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by writing to support@jrfsmart.com.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, particularly section 7. If we terminate your account for a breach, you are not entitled to a refund of any unused portion of your pass. If we terminate your account for any other reason, or if we discontinue the Service entirely, we will refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of the Service is limited to the amount you have actually paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including examination results, loss of opportunity, or loss of study time.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will notify registered users by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Boudh, Odisha.
